An astrological analysis on the box office performance of film “Veer” of Salman Khan was done on the request of one of his undisclosed fan. The same fan has sent a long list of questions covering several aspects of Salman’s future prospects in career, business, marriage, his NGO interests and interest in sports etc. The questions reflect the level of awareness and concern of the fan in Salman Khan. Therefore, all the questions have been taken-up for astrological analysis in this article.
The questions came by E-mail on 9th February 2010 at 12:01 AM. This date and time has been used for casting the “Prashna horoscope” for answering queries. His horoscope has also been worked out on the basis of his date of birth i.e., 27th December 1965. Based on the analysis of both the horoscopes, the questions of the fan have been answered.
Question 1: Is Salman Khan not a superstar anymore? Has he lost his charm and superstardom? Has his career finished as an actor? How long is his career left as an actor in Bollywood?
Answer 1: Salman Khan is still a superstar. The problems are only in the current phase. He will regain his lost stardom. However, he has to leave aside his emotional insecurities and should open his heart to new relationships and friends. He is running the “Mahadasa” (timing parameter in Vedic astrology) of Saturn right now. Saturn in his horoscope is placed in the house of gains indicating that people, fans and common man are with him. Saturn, in Vedic astrology, refers to common man and public support. The placement of Saturn in the house of gains made people support him during his trying times Tiger Zinda Hai Total Collection.
He has not lost his charm as an actor. He needs to be choosy and select films carefully. He has not failed as an actor but, yes, the story line has failed to give him his worth. As per “Jaimini astrology” the dasa to follow i.e., of Libra / Sagittarius from June 2010 will see him getting more focused in work. He should have some good offers after June 2010.
Venus and Mars conjunction in the 10th house of his horoscope indicates that his career will be related to glamour and film industry throughout his life. However, gradually he has to change the focus on types of films he signs. In future he may take up ventures like film production more seriously.
Question 2: His films are not doing well for the last so many years. Big banners, producers, directors and corporate companies don’t want to cast him in their films. Even advertising world stays away from him and he has to face lot of financial loss. Will Salman ever leave “Bollywood” as his films are not doing well? If yes, then when and what will he do? Will he be successful in that profession?
Answer 2: Salman Khan will always be a part of “Bollywood”. Though, we may see him taking a backstage at times. He will be able to make his own production company a big banner for film production. He needs to have a diplomatic approach. His words do create obstacles for him. But, he has strong will power to come out of the difficult situation he faces at times. He is predominately ruled by Mars. As per numerology, his birth number is 9 showing the influence of Mars on him. People having strong Mars do not exercise diplomacy and try to fight out through difficult situation employing even objectionable methods. However, if he can balance his inner strength and courage with a little bit of diplomacy; he will be a name to be reckoned with in “Bollywood” for all times to come.
Question 3: Will Salman ever go into politics? If yes, will he be successful as a politician?
Answer 3: Salman should stay away from active politics as it will bring disrepute to him. However, he will be successful as a political campaigner.
Question 4: Salman has an interest in sports. There are rumors that he is going to bid for an IPL cricket team. There are only 2 new teams and a lot of actors and businessman are showing their interest including Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgan, and Anil Ambani etc. Will Salman be able to buy an IPL team? If yes, will he be successful as a businessman?
Answer 4: The placement of Mars in the 10th house indicates that Salman Khan will have a natural interest in sports. However, the current transits and “operational dasa” (method of timing in Vedic astrology) suggest that he should stay away from IPL because even if he is able to buy an IPL team, he may not be able to make profit from the venture. He should make his investment in his core business i.e., entertainment.
Question 5: Salman does a lot of charity work. He runs his own NGO “BEING HUMAN”. He is trying very hard to establish “BEING HUMAN” as a brand. He does so many things to raise funds for his NGO. He has already launched “BEING HUMAN” Gold Coin and has plans to launch “BEING HUMAN” Watches, T-shirts, and Bracelets etc to raise funds. What is the future of “BEING HUMAN”? Will it be successful?
